La Profesora Pacheco

The founder, director and teacher of Viva.La School is a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Mexico. She came to the USA in the 10th grade to graduate from high school, go to college and then get a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. She has been teaching for over 10 years. She started her teaching career as an adult English as a Second Language teacher. Soon after, she obtained her Single Subject - Teaching Credential in Spanish. Recently, she obtained her Master's Degree in Educational Technology.

As a language learner herself, La Profesora Pacheco understands the obstacle and barriers a person learning a new language could have. That is why she maintains a safe and respectful environment for everyone in her classes. As a teacher, La Profesora Pacheco loves seeing the improvement of her students and loves seeing her students leave her classroom reading, writing and speaking Spanish. She is passionate about teaching and she is always looking for new ideas to help students be successful in her classes.
